Things To Do To Be Happy

1. Be like a child

Einstein said, "All of my discovery and invention are because I stayed to be like a child." It is true. The Unquenchable curiosity of the child can result into great inventions, can perform even the miracle. We always complain that, If God exits, why do not we see him/her. I would recommend, see the beauty and innocence of the child-you will see the God.

2. Learn something new. Do something creative
Think of a subject that you wish you knew more about and spend 15 minutes on the Internet reading about it, or go to a bookstore and buy a book about it. But be honest! Pick a topic that really interests you, not something you think you "should" or "need to" learn about.

Some people worry that wanting to be happier is a selfish goal, but in fact, research shows that happier people are more sociable, likable, healthy, and productive―and they're more inclined to help other people. By working to boost your own happiness, you're making other people happier, too.

3. Do what makes you happy
Try to spend most of your time doing work or activities which make time flow faster. The happiest people are usually busy with things that they love to do, whether its cooking, playing their favourite game, listening to music or being with a child.

4. Be Healthy and remember that you are healthy
Eat healthy, avoid junk food and excess alcohol, exercise regularly. An interesting study shows that happiness is not diirectly correlated to being healthy. Many healthy people take their health for granted. Whereas some sickly people appreciate the few haelthy days that they enjoy.

5. Donate things that you don't use
Whether they are books that you don't read or clothes that you don't wear, or gifts that you will never use, give them to someone who'll appreciate them.

6. Be with loved ones
Research shows that the happy people spend very little time alone. Instead they surround themselves with friends and family and find joy in sharing their lives with others.

7. Marry someone you love and respect
Advice from socrates: "By all means marry: if you get a good wife, you'll become happy; if you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

8. Find happiness in the job you have now.
Many people expect the right job or the right career to dramatically change their level of happiness, but happiness research makes it clear that your level of optimism and the quality of your relationships eclipse the satisfaction you gain from your job.[6] If you have a positive outlook, you will make the best of any job, and if you have good relationships with people, you won't depend on your job to give your life a greater sense of meaning. You'll find it in your interactions with the people you care about. Now that doesn't mean you shouldn't aspire towards a job that will make you happier; it means you should understand that the capacity of your job to make you happy is quite small in comparison to your outlook on life and your relationships with people.

9. Learn to be content
In today's world, there is an overwhelming pressure to buy, buy , buy. You need this car. You need this furniture. You need these shoes. But the truth is, you probably don’t need them. Getting on the consumption merry go round will benefit only the marketers, those who want to profit from you.
Don’t fall for this consumption trap! A roof over your head, the clothes on your back and three square meals a day should basically be it.
So stop keeping up with the Joneses. Quit living a lifestyle that you cannot afford.
Tell yourself, less is better. Follow the KISS approach (Keep It Simple Sweetie! ).
Be content with what you have. You will feel richer for it.

10. Think Positive
“Think positive” is the most common tip we get but the most powerful. Here are some tips on how and when to apply it.
Think only of the good things in every situation that you are in.
Expect great outcomes in everything you do.
Always look at the great things about everybody. Especially the person that you are in a relationship with, most common mistake we have is focusing on the bad side of the person which leads us to forget about the good side of a person.

11. Make Someone's Day.
Making someone’s day will not just make that person’s day, doing a good deed from the heart gives us an incredibly great inner feeling of joy, so why not do it every day! Imagine if everybody is doing it, it will make a big difference into the world.

12. Smile
Smile at every person that passes by you. Smiling is a big sign of happiness, not only it will make you "feel happy", it will also make other people feel good. Enjoy the power of smile.

13. Go out for a walk
If there's one thing that's virtually guaranteed to make you feel better, it's going for a walk. Walking is one of the most therapeutic things any person can do. The fact that so few of us do it anymore is probably a big factor for the growth of professional therapy.

I'm not talking about power walking, or a jogging, or even purposeful marching. What I'm talking about is an aimless wander somewhere. Walking for its own sake. Do so for at least half an hour. You'll be amazed how much better it will make you feel.

Preferably, choose somewhere picturesque, such as a park or a beach or up to a hill with a view. Everyone has somewhere nice like that not more than a short drive away. But if you can't make it somewhere picturesque for whatever reason, just go for a walk nearby

14. Sit in silence for atleast 15 minutes each day

15. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and with children or your kids.

16. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

17. don’t try to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

18. Recognize and celebrate small achievements
Don't aim too high as small goals are equally important. Always remember little droplets makeup the ocean. Your small achievements and virtues will also prove your worth. Set up a small goal as per your capability and celebrate it when it is accomplished.

19. Forget the past
One of the keys to happiness is a bad memory. You won’t be happy if you carry the burden of the past. Did you make mistakes? Did you have terrible experiences? Whatever they are, you should let them go. There’s nothing you can do about the past, so you’d better let them go and focus your energy on the present.

20. Be who you are
You can only be happy if you become who you are. Don’t live other people’s life by trying to meet their expectations. People may expect you to have certain job or certain way of living but don’t be intimidated by them. Find who you are and be yourself.

Be happy, keep smiling, be positive, enjoy nature and have fun !!!

Simple Things To Do To Lose Weight

1. Drink More Water
Drinking water is an easy way to burn fat faster. More water helps liver to convert stored fat into energy more efficiently and quickly. Drinking plenty of water helps you feel full faster.
You must have a glass of water before a meal and then another one during the meal. This will help cut down on calories without feeling hungary. Drinking water first in the morning is also a great way to get you day started. Water also helps to flush out toxins.

How much water should you drink to lose weight ?
The most common recommendation is to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. This should be a good starting point.

2. Sleep well (minimum 7 hours a day)
Recent research has shown a correlation between sleep deprivation and obesity. Apparently lack of sleep causes an imbalance in the body which inhibits the burning of fat. So if you have sleeping problems, you should address this. Regular exercise can help with this. Avoid caffeine or stimulants beyond the mid-afternoon. Certain herbal teas, such as chamomile and skullcap can also help with sleep.

3. Reduce Stress
When we are under stress the fight response is triggered in our bodies leading to the release of various hormones (like cortisol), causing the body to store excess fat. If you have a problem with stress, try yoga or meditation. These also teach proper breathing, which is crucial for overall health, stress reduction and losing weight.

4. Do not skip meals
Eating small frequent meals help to balance your calorie intake throughout the day and also keeps your blood sugar level balanced. Instead of eating 3 big meals, try to eat 5 - 6 smaller meals throughout the day.
Prefer flavorings like hot sauce, salsa intead of butter and creamy sauces. The spicy flavouring turn up digestive fires, causing your body to burn more calories.
Eat fruit rather than drinking fruit juice. Eating whole foods will keep you satisfied for longer period of time than juice. Moreover, fruit juices are very high in calories.
Add ginger to your food that helps reducing the fat.

5. Be active or exercise for 30 minutes a day
This isn't as painful as it sounds. Try to make exercise a part of your routine, like use bicycle to go to your office/school/college. Walk to the bus stop or nearby shops to buy daily items. Use stairs instead of elevator. Swimming is an excellent exercise to lose weight. Try to play some game of your choice like football, tennis, volleyball, badminton etc everyday. This keeps you refreshing and fit and you will enjoy while playing your favourite game.

6. Eat high fibre diet
(fruits / vegetables / seeds / pulses)
Roughage or dietary fibre are basically carbohydrates that the human's can't digest. Dietary fibre is found in plant foods such as cereals, pulses, fruits and vegetables. Dietary fibre desn't provide any calories and take longer to chew. Fibre stays in the stomach for longer as its harder to digest and this keeps you feeling fuller for longer, so you are less likely to want snacks in between meals.
Fibre rich fruits : Apples, Apricot, Banana, Grapefruit, Peaches. Strawberries
Fibre rich vegetables: Cabbage, Carrot, Cauliflower, Corn, Onions, Peas, Spinach, Tomato
Fibre rich Beans/Nuts : Almonds, Cashews, Peanuts, Walnuts

7. Chew gum or a candy whenever you feel tempted to grab a bite

Chewing gum helps you to control those hunger pangs which trouble you during odd timings. Always keep a few strips of gum with you and pop one in whenever you feel the urge to binge on food.

10. Malamaal Weekly (2006)

Directed by  :  Priyadarshan
Starring        :  Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav

The plot of the movie is taken from Waking Ned Devine. The film was rated poorly by most reviewers, but was a surprise hit among cinema-goers.

The film takes place in the impoverished village of Laholi, where, following past droughts, most of the villagers' possessions are mortgaged to the local Thakurani Karamkali (Sudha Chandran). One of the few entertainments the villagers can afford is the lottery.
Lilaram (Paresh Rawal) is the only educated man in the village, and has the job of intermediary between the lottery organisation and the village, for which he receives only a commission whenever a villager wins; thus he has a relatively good but volatile income. One day he reads the winning lottery numbers and realises that one of the tickets has won the top prize of one crore (about $220,000, a relative fortune in rural India). He devises a plan to obtain the winning ticket and present it to the commission as his own.

Despite the poor reviews, the movie was a surprise success at the box office. It's basically a film for the "aam janta" (common people) would enjoy due to its hilarity. Reviewers would pan the movie as "bad" due to their mindset as the "reviewer" and not watching it with the "common man" mindset. As of April, the film was the top grosser in Delhi  and has made Rs 120 million (about $2.6 million) overall. It was a low budget file of Rs 60 million.
